A day to remember! ๐
Yesterday was the final league meeting in this years cross country season. With points up for grabs there was a lot at stake. Big performances from the ladies section would mean a league title on home turf. Also for the first time since the 16/17 season.
And as such the ladies did not disappoint.
Jackie, Elaine and Ros 1st, 2nd and 3rd F60 ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Simon 2nd M60 ๐ฅ
Susan 1st F50 ๐ฅ
Kasia 2nd F40 ๐ฅ
Hilary 3rd Lady ๐ฅ
Forres Harriers Ladies as league champions ๐
Fraser Herron 2nd U15 boys, for the race and the season ๐ฅ
There were also good runs for the seniors from Ben, Tilia, Chris, Frankie, Gavin, Grant, Finlay and Moira, who came 2nd lady for the day ๐ฅ
And strong runs from some other hard working juniors with Alfie, Jasmine and Ellie. ๐
Thank you Gary Macfadyen and his hard working team of volunteers, out on the course and in the hall afterwards. Thank you for any food donations. And finally to anyone who has run in any of the seasons racesโฆ
WELL DONE ๐๐ป๐ด๐ด

Well done to todayโs masters cross country runners. Venturing down to Glasgow to race against a strong field of runners.
Cross country is never an easy outing and with such a large number of runners the placings and times mean that much more.
Itโs been a while since the gents have had such a big presence down there. There was also a debut race for us from Frankie.
And two of the Harrietโs represented the ladies section in fine form.
Gavin Hughes, 32.29 24th in cat
Robert Patterson, 34.51 39th in cat
Simon Dobbs, 37.57 18th in cat
Chris Gransden, 38.25 21st in cat
Grant Symon, 41.40 50th in cat
Kasia Klonowska, 27.32 13th in cat
Siobhan Evans, 31.25 13th in cat
David Weir, 26.28 12th in cat
Frankie Barton, 29.25 4th in cat
With the final ND league race at home next week let these people inspire you to run, or volunteer. ๐ด๐ด
