Absolute perfection on Forfar Loch this morning! 🌅✨🛶
When the water turns to glass and the morning sun breaks through the clouds like this, you know you’re in for something special. Golden skies, and total serenity—there is truly no better feeling than gliding across a mirror-still loch while most of the town is still asleep.
Glorious view, and a serious workout to kickstart the weekend! 🚣🌅

🍔🚣We say this every week! But…. What a brilliant Sunday down at our wonderful club, this week for our annual Club Fun Day and BBQ! ⛵️🥩😀
The weather played ball and gave us a fantastic day on the water. The sailing dinghies were out catching the breeze alongside the Skiffie crews getting some oars in the loch. 🚣♂️💨
We wrapped it all up with a top-notch BBQ, plenty of good food, and even better company outside the clubhouse. Big thanks to everyone who came down, hoisted a sail, grabbed an oar, or helped out on the grill!
As always, great fun had by all! 😎☀️🚣⛵️

🚣😀 What an amazing day out on the River Tay for the Forfar Skiffies crew! 🚣♀️✨
👉A huge thank you to Perth UK Sailing & Coastal Rowing for their incredible hospitality today—and especially for putting on that absolutely amazing buffet to keep us all refuelled and happy! You truly made us all feel so welcome. 🥪🍰☕️
▶️ It never fails to amaze us what a fantastic, warm, and welcoming community coastal rowing is. Sharing the water with the other clubs was an absolute blast, filled with so much fun, laughter, and great banter both on and off the river.
▶️ Between taking the skiffs out, catching up with brilliant folk, and enjoying fantastic food onshore, it really was a cracker of a day.
Great fun, great food, great company, and brilliant times on the water! Looking forward to the next one! 😁🚣☀️

👉 Oars and sails were out in full force today—this is what Sunday afternoons are all about!
Whether you were catching the breeze in a dinghy or pulling together in the Skiff, the conditions couldn't have been better for a cracking session on the water!. Great spirit, plenty of smiles, and ideal weather to wrap up the weekend. 🚣♂️💨 ⛵️

📸 🦅 🦢🚣 AN INCREDIBLE MORNING TO BE ON THE WATER! 💧 🚣✨
👉 There’s no better way to start the weekend than an early morning 7.79-mile fitness row across the calm, sunlit waters of the Loch. The glass-like water and golden morning light made for a cracking morning. 🌅☀️
📸 Nature definitely put on a show for us today:
🦅 Osprey in action: Watching an osprey sweep in overhead and sn**ch its morning catch right out of the loch was pure magic! 🐟
🦢 Swan family: Gliding past the local swan family cruising along the water was the perfect peaceful moment to round out the session.
Crystal clear blue skies, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Definitely a morning for the books! 🙌💙
