Stanford RFC Minis are looking for more children (year 1 to 4) to join their teams, it’s a fun and exciting way for your children to gain valuable life skills and get their exercise in!
Oh and find a sport that they love❤️🖤

Big thanks to cfroofingservices.co.uk⁠� for supporting the SRGUG community.
They are currently carrying out repairs to our clubhouse roof completely free of charge, helping us protect and improve facilities used by so many people across rugby, cricket, bowls and the wider local community.
As everyone knows, maintaining the clubhouse is a constant challenge for a volunteer-run club, so support like this genuinely makes a huge difference.

Good morning all, please comment if the below would be something you would be interested in. The idea is simple, It brings people to the club on quiet days.
Sunday mornings can be dead time for many clubs unless there’s sport on. A flea market:
Creates regular monthly footfall
Gets people into the clubhouse for tea, coffee, bacon rolls, or a pint
Introduces locals who have never stepped inside SRGUG

Once people visit once, they’re far more likely to return for:
rugby
cricket
social events
quizzes
Bingo
It becomes a gateway event.

Its very much just an idea at the moment, so any thoughts on whether you think it would work or not are appreciated.

Despite the club having no power, todays game is still on. We are waiting for uk power to turn up and repair the fault. Until that happens the club has zero power. We will be selling drinks but it will be bottles or shorts only and also CASH only. If you need coffee or tea, you will need to purchase it elsewhere. Apologies for the inconvenience , we are doing our best to get the power back on.
