Your body not changing doesnā€™t mean your habits arenā€™t working

Iā€™ve nearly fallen into that trap several times over the last year

Since having an ovarian cyst rupture in back on October 2025, I have had a cascade of hormonal issues that has meant my body hasnā€™t responded to fat loss despite my efforts

I also have had bouts of inflammation, pain, discomfort

And no one can figure out what is wrong

Which yes has meant I have had days where I have eaten my feelings, not trained, not walked, or even moved from the sofa

But whatā€™s important to note is I have not let those moments become my everyday

Because imagine how much worse I would feel if I let it?

If I didnā€™t strength train, if I didnā€™t prioritise protein intake, if I didnt walk daily, Iā€™d be a mess

So even when your efforts arenā€™t always visible, remember that looking after yourself consistently stacks up over time
