FSA 2017’s Community Team

An entertaining game on maybe the last warm Saturday of the year. The boys dug deep in the first half, without showing any real composure when it counted. It was a much improved second half performance where we moved the ball a lot better and the composure we asked for from the start, was evident.

A special mention to Tommy as our Captain on the day. He put in a MOTM inspired performance as he brilliantly lead the team by example. A fantastic work rate throughout the game which paid off with some real moments of quality in front of of goal.

We also had Zayne making his debut today with a real assured performance at the back. Reading the game extremely well and winning his individual duals.

We’d like to thank Abronhill for hosting us and wish them all the best for the remainder of the block.

Tommy has been focused at training this week. He is always eager to learn, develop and improve his game. He leads by example with his positive attitude, and determination. Well done Tommy!

Another tough task for the boys today, which brought out another performance where they can hold their heads up high. 1st half was superb from the boys!

We competed well against a very good Bannockburn side for parts of the game today, and a lot of good lessons learned to take with us into the next few weeks.

A special mention to Samuel in the goals today. Our player of the match! Plenty of shots taken but plenty of shots saved with all limbs and body 🙈. It was a stellar performance between the sticks.

Introducing our captain for this weeks game…. JAY! After last weeks performance, Jay earned the right to lead the team out for our fixture against Bannockburn

A tough start to the new block of fixtures today, against a fast paced advanced team. The boys all kept their heads up and remained competitive throughout the game. They took a lot from that game and will continue to develop onto the next one.

A special mention to Jay today, our player of the match. He was outstanding in winning the majority of his defensive battles and was a real rock at the back. Always showing for the ball and trying to find forward passes. Well done Jay 👏

Our goalies attended J4K Falkirk goal keeping training tonight to work on pre match preparation and techniques in time for the new block starting tomorrow.
