Congratulations to Emma Allison and Stephen Boyle Falkirk Bowling Club Champions for 2026.

Emma played Kate Watson in a hard fought final but emerged victorious winning the title for the 4th year in a row. A tremendous achievement.

Stephen played Crawford MacKay in the final of the Gents singles and after an excellent game of bowls won the title once more, 21 years after winning it for the first time.

The Senior final was between Chiggy MacDonald and Stephen Boyle. Stephen won the game and achieved an unusual double of gents and senior champion in one year. Chiggy made the final in his first year at the Club and I’m sure will be back again to challenge for the title next year.

Fantastic day at the Ian McPhait Memorial Triples yesterday. Congratulations to the team from Laurieston, Kelly, Alan and Lorraine for winning the competition.

Thank you to Fiona, Martyn and Kathryn for arranging a wonderful day . It was filled with everything Ian would have loved - family, laughter, friendship and a wee dram… or two!

Also thank you to everyone who took part on the day. Players, spectators and everyone who worked behind the scenes.
The event raised £1500 for the families nominated charities Strathcarron and CHAS

Green is looking great today as we prepare it for our Club finals. We are also pleased to host the Halcyon Vision Finals on Wednesday 26th August.

Thanks to our Green volunteers and Kings Green Maintenance who have been working hard on improving the playing surface all year .

Due to late call offs we have some spaces available for the Ian McPhait Open Triples next Saturday 29th August. Message if you would like to enter a team.

Try Bowls at the Commonwealth Games

Thank you to Queensferry Bowling Club who joined us on Saturday for our annual friendly fixture. After a fun but competitive game we all sat down to fish suppers and a small beverage… or 2!

Already looking forward to our return visit to Queensferry next year.
