Midlife is just a whole new vibe. ✨

A vibe you get to create for yourself.

It’s choosing to show up for yourself, even when nobody else is watching.

finding confidence in who you are, taking up space, trying new things, saying yes to spontaneous plans and giving yourself permission to actually ENJOY your life.

And I’m seeing this happen with my clients every single day. ❤️

They’re finding newfound strength! not just physically, but mentally too.

They’re trying things they never thought they would.
They’re stepping outside their comfort zones.
They’re discovering what their bodies are capable of.
They’re becoming stronger, more confident and more comfortable in their own skin.

And most importantly, they’re realising that midlife doesn’t mean putting your life on hold.

You can go out…You can enjoy food without guilt.
You can travel, try new things, take yourself on adventures and have fun.

You don’t have to earn enjoyment by being “good” all week.

You don’t have to wait until you lose the weight, get fitter or look a certain way before you start living.

You can feel good about yourself NOW.

This is what I want for my clients.

Not just a smaller body, but a fuller and healthier life.

What’s your midlife vibe looking like ? Stuck ? Struggling ? Miserable?

It doesn’t need to be like that , reach out … grab some help and come and join an amazing group of midlife girls who are smashing it

Women are finally realising that strength training isn’t just about how you LOOK. It’s about how you FEEL, how you MOVE and how you AGE. 🏋🏼‍♀️

With more knowledge and better education around women’s health, more and more women are taking on board just how important building and maintaining muscle really is.

And for women in their 40s and beyond, this becomes even more important.

💪🏼 Building muscle helps us maintain strength and independence as we age
🦴 Resistance training supports bone health
🔥 More muscle helps support our metabolism and body composition
❤️ It improves physical fitness and resilience
🧠 And it can have a huge impact on our mood and mental wellbeing

Especially during perimenopause, when hormones are changing and you might suddenly feel like your energy, mood, sleep and body are all behaving differently.

Strength training gives you something you CAN control.

There’s something incredibly empowering about realising your body isn’t working against you… it’s capable of getting stronger

So if you’re the woman who has recently discovered the gym, started lifting weights and suddenly thinks, “Why did nobody tell me this sooner?”…

Welcome. 😂

This isn’t about becoming a bodybuilder.

It’s about building a strong body that supports you through midlife and beyond.Strong women aren’t just changing their bodies. They’re changing how they feel about themselves.

Consistency is boring until it works

You might look at your training programme and think…

“Surely I should be changing my exercises by now?”

“Isn’t my body going to get used to this?”

“Maybe I need to do something different to see better results.”

Actually… probably not. 👇🏼

Repeating the same programme isn’t a sign that your training has become boring. It’s how you actually measure whether you’re progressing.

If you constantly change your exercises, reps, sets and training style, how do you know if you’re getting stronger?

You don’t.

And this is where progressive overload comes in.

You repeat movements so that you can gradually ask your body to do more.

🏋🏼‍♀️ More weight
💪🏼 More reps
📈 Better technique
🔥 More control
⏱️ More time under tension
➡️ Or eventually, a harder variation

That progression is the stimulus your body needs to adapt.

And those adaptations are what help you build and maintain muscle, get stronger and change your body composition.

Because if your goal is a leaner, more defined physique, the answer isn’t simply to eat less and do cardio.

muscle doesn’t appear because you changed your workout every Monday.

It comes from giving your body a reason to adapt — and then consistently giving it that stimulus over time.

And this becomes even more important as we move through midlife.

Women need strength training, not because we need to spend our lives trying to be smaller…

But because maintaining muscle becomes incredibly important as we age

Being a mum is never just a 9–5.

It’s the school runs, the packed lunches, the appointments, the shopping, the washing, the cooking, the homework, the messages you have to remember to send, the things you need to organise and the million little things that somehow live in your head.

It’s knowing who needs picked up, what’s happening next week, what’s running out in the fridge and whether everyone has what they need.

And even when the kids get older, the mental load doesn’t disappear , it just changes.

So if you’re a mum who feels like there’s never enough time for YOU, I get it.

But your health can’t always be the thing that gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

You don’t need hours in the gym. You don’t need to be perfect. You need a plan that fits around real life.

Because looking after yourself isn’t selfish.

You’re allowed to be more than Mum.

You deserve to feel strong, confident, energised and proud of the woman underneath all those responsibilities too. ❤️

And that’s exactly what I help women achieve through my coaching

Of you’re a busy mum struggling to find tome for you then I can help . My coaching isn’t just food and nutrition

It’s a whole lifestyle coaching ….. helping you manage it all while working on yourself too 💗💗

“Who cares about your workout?”

Apparently… your husband does when you’ve got biceps to show for it 😂💪

I see this so often with my clients.

They’re juggling work, kids, family, life and everything in between and sometimes they feel guilty for taking an hour for themselves to train.

But having a partner who supports your fitness can make such a difference.

Not because he needs to be into the gym too.

But because he understands that your health matters to you.

The best partners don’t question why you’re going to train again. They don’t make you feel guilty for taking time for yourself.

They encourage you.

They notice your confidence growing. They see the changes in your strength. They’re proud when you hit a new PB or start feeling like yourself again.

And sometimes… they just have to admire the biceps you’ve worked so hard for 😂💪

Because when you’ve got someone at home saying “Go train, I’ve got you”, it makes prioritising yourself that little bit easier.

And ladies, you deserve that kind of support. ❤️

Remember skinny is a trend…. Strong never goes out of fashion

And I think we need to remember that

Midlife can have you looking in the mirror wondering why your body doesn’t feel the same anymore.

You can still want to feel good in your clothes.
You can still want to lose a little body fat.
You can still want to feel confident in your bikini.

But you don’t need to chase being as small as possible to achieve that.

In midlife we need to be focussing on more than just looking good … the key to long term health and longevity requires..

building muscle….. need to get stronger. You need to fuel your body properly. You need to look after yourself.

Because the goal isn’t just to look good for summer.

It’s to feel strong carrying the shopping, climbing the stairs, playing with your kids and getting older feeling capable in your own body.

Trends come and go….. Strength stays with us right through our midlife years.

YOU …..

focussing on health, getting stronger, trying to eat better, getting workouts in.

But secretly wondering…”Am I actually doing enough?”

You smile, you get on with things, you look like you have it all together

But behind that smile there might be stress, overwhelm, hormones, work, kids, relationships, a never-ending to-do list…

And sometimes you look in the mirror and think “Everyone keeps telling me I look great… so why don’t I feel great?”

Because looking okay on the outside doesn’t always mean you’re feeling okay on the inside 💡

And this is where I think so many women get stuck.

They don’t need another restrictive diet.
They don’t need to punish themselves with hours of cardio.
They don’t need to constantly start again on Monday.

They need a plan. They need to know what to eat, how to train, when to push and when to rest.

They need accountability when motivation disappears.

And they need someone in their corner reminding them that progress isn’t just a number on the scales.

Strength. Energy. Confidence. Consistency. Better habits. A body that feels capable.

That’s what we’re working towards inside my coaching.

Because you shouldn’t have to spend another year wondering if you’re doing enough.

You deserve to know exactly what you’re doing , and why.

If you’re that woman who looks like she’s doing fine but knows there’s more you want from yourself, drop me a message and let’s talk about coaching. ❤️

Sometimes you don’t need a big holiday… you just need to switch off for a minute. 🤍

A little downtime in Dunkeld

✨ A spa day and massage at Dunkeld House
🛏️ An overnight stay at The Atholl
🍕 Pizza and a glass of something at The Taybank
🌿 A walk through The Hermitage

No rushing.
No schedules.
No feeling like I should be doing something productive.

Just slowing down, getting outside, eating good food, having a massage and actually enjoying my own company.

I think this is something I’m learning more and more in midlife…

Rest isn’t something you earn when everything else is done.
It’s part of looking after yourself.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is step away from the noise, breathe, reset and come back feeling like yourself again. 🤍

More of this, please. 🥂
