Another weekend of football for both teams, with plenty of hard work, effort and commitment on show.

Murieston United (A)

🤩 Coaches Player of the Match - Alicia Brown

A really positive performance from Alicia, who worked tirelessly throughout the match and made a great impact in an unfamiliar role at centre-back.

She communicated well, encouraged those around her and helped organise the back four. Alicia looked really confident on the ball, showing great composure and purpose when looking for the right pass.

A confident, positive performance and a great example of stepping up for the team. Well done, Alicia!

🤩 Players Player of the Match - Susan Archibald

Susan put in a shift from start to finish, showing exactly what it means to keep fighting for the team. She was constantly making runs, working hard to get back and defend, and getting stuck into every challenge.

But it wasn’t just her work on the pitch that stood out. Susan played a huge part in keeping everyone’s morale up throughout the game, encouraging her teammates and making sure the team kept going right until the final whistle.

🤩 Coaches Player of the Match - Mark Maxwell

Maxi covered every blade of grass, working relentlessly for the team and making an impact all over the pitch. His contribution wasn’t always obvious in the moment, but his importance to the team became clear when he was substituted, with the team feeling the change in his absence.

The management team fully recognised the impact Maxi had on the game and acknowledge that his substitution changed the balance of the team.

A fantastic shift from Maxi and a thoroughly deserved award. Well done!

🤩 Referees Player of the Match - Dean Myles

Coming on at half time, Dean played a vital role up front as our number 9. He showed real grit and determination throughout the second half, getting back up after every challenge and continuing to work hard to get himself on the ball.

Despite the physical nature of the game, Dean remained calm, composed and focused on playing football, showing a great attitude right through to the final whistle.

His effort, resilience and composure were recognised by the referee. Well done, Dean!
