LAST MAN STANDING 2026‼️

With the World Cup now over attention turns to club football and our Last Man Standing competition.

We are now just a few days away from the English season starting.

Rules:
Entries cost £10. Winner takes 50% of pot.

Select a winner each week in the English Premier League to advance.

Fixtures will be posted here each week in advance. Wk 1 to follow.

Send your pick to ME directly - Ross 07512059378 (not on this page 🤣), by 1200 before the first fixture of that week. E.g. "LMS - Sam H - Liverpool"

You cannot select the same team more than once. If your chosen team draws or loses you are out of the competition.

£10 buy-in after 1ST ROUND only (good for those who pick Man Utd first).

In the event of a tie after the 5th game week (if we get that far 🙏) the remaining entrants will be contacted each week for team selection until a winner is found.

Deadline for entries is 1200hrs August 21st in time for week 1.

⭐ Bradley – A very quiet morning compared to most, but stayed alert when called upon and dealt comfortably with the few chances that came his way to secure the clean sheet.
⭐ Mikey – Outstanding at the back and drove forward brilliantly to open the scoring. Strong, confident, and led well throughout.
⭐ Che – Grew into the game well, especially in the second half. Composed on the ball and capped his performance with a great strike.
⭐ Blane – Solid defensive display and contributed going forward, including involvement in a well‑worked team goal. Consistent and reliable all game.
⭐ Calvin – Influential performance. Drove play from midfield, linked up well with those around him, and consistently tested the keeper. A big part of the attacking flow.
⭐ Luca – Constant threat throughout. Brilliant pressing to win the ball back, great movement, and always involved in creating chances and linking play.
⭐ JT – Outstanding performance. relentless pressing, strong running, and superb link‑up play. Scored goals and created chances all morning — a real driving force for the team.
⭐ Charlie – Excellent impact when introduced. Lively, positive, and unlucky not to add more goals after testing the keeper with strong efforts.
⭐ Max – Showed good energy and work rate when on, linking well in attacking areas and contributing to forward play.
⭐ Brodie – Worked hard throughout, showed good intent and kept things ticking when involved, adding to the team’s overall performance.

A top‑class team performance built on pressing, movement, and brilliant link‑up play, with the lads playing some fantastic football throughout and thoroughly earning the clean sheet and result 🖤🖤🤍💜⚽️

💜 MAN OF THE MATCH – BLANE (C) 💜
A massive well done to Blane, who picked up the Coaches’ Man of the Match award this morning 👏
Leading the team as captain, Blane put in a top performance, showing great commitment, composure, and leadership from the back. He was solid defensively throughout, dealt well with anything that came his way, and showed real determination in a physical game.
His attitude on the pitch, communication with teammates, and willingness to lead by example were clear to see from start to finish. A true captain’s performance 👏💪
