Fun evening down at Woodbury CC for a midweek match. CSG came away with the win by 8 wickets. Special mention to Twiggsy for finally making it onto the cricket pitch for the first time this season. Better late than never eh? 😊

It was another beautiful evening on Monday night when our U13s hosted Exeter who ended their batting innings on 87 / 3. However CSG were on batting form and smashed out 88 / 5 off 13 overs to take the win. Well done team! 👏🔥👏

Last Friday our U11s played a VERY tense quarter final match in the Devon Cup away against Exmouth. CSG batted first and ended their innings on 97/5. In went Exmouth and wickets went flying until we were 21 for 7 and the win looked like it was in the bag. However Exmouth started to claw their way back and in a nerve wracking 16th over with the hosts needing just 1 run to win, Mihir held his nerve and took the final wicket. Parents and coach breathed a huge sigh of relief - the team had drawn on 97 and because CSG had lost the least number of wickets, took the victory and a place in the finals day. Massive well done team and a big thank you to Exmouth Cricket Club for hosting us and such an exciting match! 👏🤩👏
