A BIG thank you to our Caroline!

Here's our President aka Lavs at the Junior Presentation and Cocktail Night last Friday presenting her with a few very well-deserved thank you gifts for everything she does for us.

And when we say everything… we really do mean EVERYTHING! 😂

Scorer, barmaid, fixtures, secretary, organiser, problem solver and general fount of all knowledge - if you don’t know the answer, ask Caroline! And if she doesn’t know… well, we’re probably all in trouble! 😂

There’s so much that goes into keeping a club like ours ticking along, both out front and behind the scenes, and Caroline plays a massive part in making it all happen.

Caroline, we salute you! 🫡

Thank you for all the time, hard work, help and general sorting-out-of-everything you give to the club. It really is so appreciated.

We’d be lost without you! ❤️💐👏

Fantastic night on Friday for our Cocktail and Junior Presentation Evening. Big thanks to team Daisy for sorting out the cocktail bar and to all those who helped out behind the bar, selling raffle tickets and clearing up etc. A great club effort! The raffle and cocktails raised £1026 for the club. 👏🍹🍸

A loss against Taunton yesterday for the women, but they still walked off with smiles on their faces!

Plenty of positives to take from the game, and, as always, great to see the team enjoying their cricket and supporting each other right to the end.

We'd like to say a fond farewell to our overseas, Charlie! 👋

Chuck has been the ultimate clubman, helping prep wickets for all the cricket matches with our trusty groundsmen PJ and Lavs at Bohea alongside his coaching duties.

On the pitch he’s been at his positive best, always geeing up the players through good and bad. He’ll be the first to tell you it wasn’t his best season with the bat but he’ll come back stronger for sure.

Off the pitch, what can we say about our Chuck?! He loved a pint almost as much as he loved Timepiece 😂. Always keen to learn and happy to help whenever he could, Chuck has been a great person to have around the club. The boys, Iain and Caroline have really enjoyed having him stay with them this season, and we’d all like to wish Chuck the very best of luck with his future endeavours. He’ll certainly be missed!

It’s been a pleasure. Safe travels back home to Oz Chuck! 🐨🦘

Last of the DCL matches last weekend. The 1st XI’s match was cancelled ☔️ but the 2nds managed to fit a game in 🏏 A mixed season for the teams with both finishing 8th in their respective leagues. Always things to work on but at the end of a season it’s time to look back on the positives.. the fantastic personal and team performances there’s been and the fun we’ve had on and off the pitch. Those endless sunny days and balmy evenings back at the club house with our team mates and friends. All in all a top 2026! 🏏☺️

Yesterday may have been a wash out for the last league game of the season, but we are pleased to be welcoming Erratics cricket club exeter to Bohea Field this afternoon.
Play is due to start at 2pm and the bar will be open. 🏏🌦️🤞

We’ll be celebrating our brilliant juniors with their end-of-season presentation alongside our annual cocktail night hosted by Daisy and Lara and a BBQ 🍸🍹🍔
