~ WANTED~

We are looking for school horses and ponies to join our team at Oakland’s, lease/loan/buy or working livery considered - perfect if you are looking for support or to reduce costs over the winter months.

Ideally between 14-16.2hh and 8yrs or over, although we would look at a younger if they have had life experience and an old head. The new team member should be sane and sensible, happy to school on if needed. Ifs buts and imperfections understood! Any shape or size welcome 🤗 we teach a wide variety of clients from total beginners to advanced riders and everyone else in between.

We offer a varied life with 24 hour supervision and all year round turnout available. 5* yard with references on request and over 50 years experience in the industry. Many options if finances are a consideration, happy to chat through any questions.

It's not something we like to do but due to the ever rising costs, from the 1st Sept there will be a small increase to all lesson prices

Some of the new prices are:

Children 12 & under
🐴 Half hour group £28
🐴 Half hour private £44
🐴 1 hour shared (2 riders) £44

13 yrs and over
🐴 1 hour private £62
🐴 1 hour shared £50
🐴 1 hour group £47

Pony club £47

UPDATE TO ROAD CLOSURES

From Monday 10th the Crabb Lane turning will be closed. This could be for up to 2 weeks - we will let you know when this changes

You will need to use the Balls Farm Road turning to access the yard

Devon 24/07/26 Wales and West Utilities are closing Cowick Lane, Exeter from 27th July until 1st September 2026 for essential gas works. Please follow the diversion and expect delays in this area. JC

First week of summer Mini Pony Days done 💪

Cowick lane is being closed one way from Sainsbury's end to the Cowick Barton Pub.

Diversions will be in place

Now taking bookings for our Summer Holiday Activities 😎

Mini pony days: Monday - Friday 10-1 throughout the holidays! These are perfect for the less experienced children.

Activity Afternoons - every Wednesday and some Tuesdays (2- 5pm) throughout the holidays. These are for the more experienced children.

There are also daytime spots during the weekday to book in regular lessons

You must call to book in -01392 272105- spaces do go fast!
