Join us for our next Lunch 4 Life Celebration Evening!

This will be our fourth event featuring cuisine from around the world, cooked by the asylum seekers living locally that attend our monthly Lunch 4 Life group.

This next event will take place on Saturday 1st August at Park Hub from 7-10pm.

Tickets cost £25 per head and include a delicious Asian feast as well as live music.

We had a wonderful morning this week celebrating a much loved member of our Park Life Seniors Group who’s recently turned 90!

Cake and conversation in the shade of Park Hub gardens was a lovely way to mark the occasion and show Terry how treasured he is!

It’s set to be another sunny and warm Friday so as we did last week, we’ll be running an indoor / outdoor (in the shade) Park Life Baby & Toddler Group this Friday 10th July.

This means we can extend the usual limit on capacity and anyone with or without a ticket can join us!

Rock up at Park Hub from 10-11.30am for free play, stories and singing.

We’d love to see you and your pre schoolers! 💚

Local update! The public green space that has been temporarily occupied over the last week is now clear and fully accessible again💚

We’d love to see you at parkcafeheavitree for an ice cream or iced drink soon 🤗

We also have an exciting update on the paddling pools and play area. We held a really positive meeting with Exeter City Council last week, and we’re pleased to say Park Life will be supporting the effort by providing access to our power to get the new pools up and running.

It’s a small thing on our part, but it means a lot to be able to help. This area of the park is such a big part of summer for local families, and we’re proud to play our part in moving the project forward.

We’re excited to keep working alongside the council on this, and we’ll share more updates when we have them!

TEEN event this Friday! 🤗

Invite your teen to join us at Park Hub this Friday from 6-8pm.

We’ll have games and crafts set up to enjoy including bingo, pizza and an ice cream station 🍨
It’ll be a fun, chill, hangout space after a hot week.

All teens welcome 🤗 (Year 7-11)
Come as a group of friends or by yourself to meet new people.

☀️ We’re adapting! ☀️

Due to the ongoing high temperatures, we WILL be going ahead with our Park Life Baby & Toddler Group tomorrow (Friday 26th June) at Park Hub from 10am - 11.30am BUT we will be keeping doors and windows open to allow a through draft and to keep things as cool as possible.

So for this week only, even if you haven’t pre registered and got a ticket, you are welcome to join us as we open the space up. Please note this group is for parents and carers of under 5s only.

We love this photo from a recent ‘Keep on Moving’ exercise class! Such a positive, energetic and supportive group.

We spent some time last week wishing Tracy a Happy Wedding Day! Tracy and her Mum Christine have become committed and much loved regulars of our Wednesday afternoon session.

We can’t wait to catch up and see the wedding pics soon!

This exercise group have become good friends and look forward to the social aspect of the afternoon as much as the value of improving strength, coordination and mobility.

Our next session will be Wednesday 1st July from 2.30-3.30pm at Park Hub. Everyone welcome!
