Ewell Village Bowling Club has celebrated 90 years. Yesterday there was a Presidents v Captains match, followed by a meal, nibbles and fizz!

Ewell Village Bowling Club is located in Gibraltar Recreation Ground, West Street, Ewell, Surrey, KT17 1XU. We are close to Ewell West train station.
Buses 293, 406, 418, 467 and 470 pass through Ewell Village. The bowling green is open from mid April to end of September. Guidance for those new to lawn bowling. Plenty of matches for experienced bowlers. Table Tennis and Cribbage in the club house all year round. What3Words for the Club House :- shirts.only.slows

We must congratulate all in the club for their contributions to making this Open Day weekend a success. To all those who took part, made cakes, ate cakes, made and drank tea and played bowls – I say a huge thank you.
We had a very busy weekend with a steady stream of visitors, some new to bowls, some just curious, some experienced. But it wasn’t just the visitors and guests, the weather played its part and it was a delight to see all rinks being used by players having fun.
A huge thank you to Derek, Stephen, Steve, Dave and others who acted as coaches and ambassadors for the club – a great job well done.
