Player of the match - Kay 🏆
Sponsored by The Black Lion Pub Epping

Our POTM goes to Kay, who found the back of the net twice to put us ahead early on. Two goals to her name and a well-deserved POTM after a tough afternoon ⚽️

Defeat at the Len Forge Centre.

A difficult day against a strong young side who adapted well throughout the game and made it hard for us to find solutions. Plenty to learn from the performance, with Kay getting on the scoresheet twice, Elin putting in a solid 90 minutes on her women’s team debut, and captain Chelsea continuing to lead and push the team throughout.

⚽️ Goals:
Kay (Pen)
Kay (Diana assist)

Player of the match - Sorrel 🏆
Sponsored by Siswahz Hair

Our POTM goes to Sorrel, who worked incredibly hard in the #9 role today, making the position her own. She held the ball up well, pressed the opposition defence and also dropped into midfield to help the team. She was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after a corner late in the game. 👏

A solid performance from the team today against a side two divisions above us. We were unlucky to concede a few goals from our own mistakes, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game.

With strong performances from the midfield three of Chelsea, Ellie and Karen, who worked tirelessly box-to-box, making challenges and working hard to keep possession. 🤝
