MAN OF THE MATCH
The award for the Man of the Match in today’s fixture against Ballinamallard Utd Reserves will be presented by Enda and Malachy Love.
Our current Committee members, Enda and Malachy, have had a long connection with Rangers, each serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman on a number of occasions. In fact, Malachy was Club Chairman when Rangers won the IFA Junior Cup for the first time in 1999, as well as the Mercer and Mulhern Cups, and he was also instrumental in the development of the Ball Range during his second tenure as Chairman. Enda was Chairman during recent Junior Cup and Mercer League successes. Enda is, of course, currently Chairman of the Fermanagh and Western Football Association, a role his father, Enda Senior, occupied for very many years, and he has served as Chairman of the IFA Junior Committee and as a member of the IFA Council.
Both played for Rangers in the 1980s and 1990s, mostly for the Reserves, Enda usually as a surprisingly quick full back and Malachy as a no-nonsense defender. Both also took on the role of Reserve Team Manager during that period.
