Do you own a road bike with Shimano Ultegra or Dura Ace 11 speed crankset?

If so Shimano have issued a warning that any built prior to 2019 may have a bonding issue and as such need to be checked.

If your crankset is affected Shimano will replace at no cost.

If you think you have one of these cranksets let me know and I'll discuss how to inspect your bike.

Gyro brakes are a dark art. After much sweating and a few expletives the bike was all repaired and safe again.

If you're fixing your own puncture make sure to check inside the tyre.

If the puncture is V shaped it means the tube was nipped between the rim and the tyre.

It's a good idea to service your bike at least once a year. This is a bottom bracket from a full suspension Nukeproof.

The shell and spindle were rusted and caked in very smelly grease.

So I fixed a delightful young man's bike the other day. I received this today.
