Supporting and giving back to our local community is so important to us, and we have supported many local groups so far this year with donations and fundraising events 🥰

We’re proud to be at the heart of our community, providing local children with a safe and friendly space to play cricket and make new friends.

And we couldn’t agree more, our volunteers really are AMAZING!

🏏 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 🏏

Tonight, Cllr Keith Flunder and I had the pleasure of visiting Endon Cricket Club and meeting some of the fantastic team behind this much-loved community club.

It was brilliant to see so many young players and their families coming together to celebrate the 2026 Junior Presentation Evening. 👏🏏

A huge well done to all the young people who received awards this evening — your hard work, commitment and enthusiasm are something to be proud of. 🏆👏

Clubs like Endon Cricket Club play a vital role in our community, providing high-quality sporting opportunities where young people can stay active, build confidence, make friends and develop a real sense of belonging.

Supporting and improving sporting opportunities for local young people is a real priority, and Cllr Keith Flunder, Cllr Charlotte Edwards and I are delighted to be working with the club to help create even more opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in sport.

None of this would be possible without the dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy throughout the year. Thank you for everything you do to make Endon Cricket Club such a fantastic community hub. 💙💛

Yes Barbra! 🙌✨
We are so grateful to have you as a part of our club community.

☺️ Our first Limelight Marketing Communications Ltd Volunteer of the Month award for September goes to the wonderful Barbara White.

📝Barbara's volunteered as scorer for Staffordshire Super9s Spitfires team for the last 3 seasons, with fixtures throughout the Midlands and beyond. She maintains accurate records on Play-Cricket and the players really appreciate her contribution.

In addition, she regularly volunteers as an umpire/scorer for local Table and Softball Cricket Competitions at special schools in Newcastle and Stoke on Trent as well as umpiring for Endon Cricket Club.

We really appreciate the time and energy that Barbara gives to many of our programmes, she's a real diamond.

Thanks for all that you do for cricket in Staffordshire Barbara 👏

A great day for our Womens Softball Team over at Burslem CC for their Softball Festival.

With 8 local teams, showing that local womens cricket is growing 🙌🙌

A great day all round, the rain didn’t dampen our spirits ☀️☀️. Loads of fun, cricket, music, cake and prosecco 🏏🍾

What a fantastic day! We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated, took part, organised, volunteered, sponsored and supported our Family Fun Day in aid of Parkinson’s UK and Dementia UK. 🥰

Thanks to each and every one of you, we are absolutely delighted to announce that we raised an incredible £2,667! 🎉👏

The money will be split equally between Parkinson’s UK and Dementia UK, helping both charities continue their vital work supporting people and families affected by these conditions.

From the people behind the scenes who helped organise everything, to our amazing volunteers, participants, donors and everyone who simply came along and made the day so special — this wouldn’t have been possible without you. ❤️

We are truly grateful for every donation, every helping hand and every bit of support.

The Endon CC Family Charity Day is finally here!

We’ve already told you about it… but seeing as it’s TOMORROW, we thought we’d shout about it one more time! 😜

And before anyone checks the forecast… yes, there might be a bit of the wet stuff about. 🌧️

BUT WE’RE NOT LETTING A LITTLE RAIN SPOIL THE PARTY!

We’ve got plenty of cover, and if the heavens open, we’ll simply move the fun inside and carry on! 🍻🎶🎉

👨‍🍳 Chef Dan will be serving up sausage butties from 10.30am

🏏 Dads v Dads 11am
Two teams. One rivalry. Several questionable hamstrings.
It’s less Ashes and more aches and pains, but these dads are ready to battle it out!

🏏 U35s v O35s 2pm
The young guns against the experienced campaigners…
Although judging by some of the team sheets, the O35s are relying heavily on experience rather than pace 😉
