🏆 David Millard wins Newcomer of the Year

We are delighted to announce that David Millard has won Newcomer of the Year at the Cambridgeshire Cricket Collective Awards, a county-wide celebration of the volunteers who make cricket possible.
This category recognises someone who has recently stepped into the world of volunteering and made an immediate, positive impact and David has certainly done that.

David was very surprised to receive the award and was extremely grateful for the recognition. As a club, we are absolutely delighted to have a winner at these awards for the second year in a row.

We were also proud to see several of our volunteers nominated this year, which reflects the incredible work happening across the club.

While this award recognises David individually, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who dedicate their valuable time to the club. Your commitment, energy, and support make a real difference.

Congratulations, David and thank you to every volunteer who helps make our club what it is. 👏🏏

🏏 Another successful Memorial Day! ❤️

What a fantastic day and another great reminder of what our club is all about.

It was brilliant to have support from far and wide, with former players returning to the club and so many people coming along to support the day.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ve raised over £600, which will be split between the club and East Anglian Air Ambulance . A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets, bid in the auction or simply came along and supported us. 👏

On the field, the game was played in exactly the right spirit, with the Shiny Keys comfortably beating the Rusty Keys! 🏏 It was particularly special to see dads and sons playing l against each other and making memories together.

Ultimately, cricket is about much more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about community, friendships and making memories and today really showed what a special community we have at our club.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day happen and to everyone who came along and made it what it was. ❤️

A fitting day to remember Brian ‘The Lion’ Leonard and Matthew Tonge.

Once a Key, always a Key.
