Good evening everyone
Sorry for the late announcement however we have been ensuring we can get the drive and car park cleared and gritted this we have achieved this evening and as things stand the centre shall be open tomorrow as normal with all lesson going ahead at your normal times.
We look forward to seeing you all should there be any changes we shall be in touch direct with each individual customer ourselves via telephone should have any queries please contact the centre direct vie the landline as the messages via FB do sometimes take a few days to come through and we are obviously very busy with the added weather conditions so not always able to check the FB page for comments and messages.

The horses are all happily munching in the fields being checked on at least twice a day whilst we clear the ice from the toughs.
The drive way and car park are still all clear making access to the centre easier than it was on Monday.
This weather is certainly making things harder and more challenging with stabled horses taking it in turns to stretch in the indoor school in groups , all the extra haynets they are eating means so many more to fill not an easy task when allergic to the hay 🙈 then they all have to be mucked out twice a day it’s certainly is a never ending job atm.

Wow when will this snow end 🙈🙈 it’s certainly making things so so much harder around here but all the horses are as always well fed and watered so they are happy.
Yesterday and today we got the drive and car park cleared making access to the yard possible and we got out for the first time since the weekend for supplies Sophia wasn’t happy when I told her I’d have to start rationing her milk 🙈🤣
These pictures show just how well insulated the horses and ponies coats are with the snow sitting on their backs yet their coats underneath are dry, fluffy and warm

We hope you all had a good Christmas and wish you all a Happy New Year
Not the best start to January weather wise it’s proving very very disruptive and challenging to say the least.
A huge massive thank you to all who came in over the festive period and gave a helping hand it’s always greatly appreciated, and to those who have managed to get in the last few days for lessons and lend a hand THANK YOU this weather causes so so much more jobs to be done every helping hand is so appreciated.
With gates frozen and blocked up with snow having to clear them before we can even get in fields , water troughs frozen having to clear them of ice 3 x a day to ensure the horses living out always have access to to water, they’ve got loads of hay out so plenty to eat and are all in good spirits playing in the snow.
We’ve never seen the snow this deep before clearing paths to be able to much out this motand they were all filled and I had to clear them again just a couple of hrs later 😔🙈 it’s up over our knees in the fields so makes for hard work walking through it.
Here’s a photo of Splash today whilst I was once again doing the water trough you can see the layer of snow on his back showing that he is well insulated
