We’re getting everything ready for the Krimptonite Grand Final, so things will be a little different around the centre next week!

Wednesday 9th September - The comp wall gets stripped!

Thursday 10th & Friday 11th September – Our setters will be busy creating the Grand Final problems. Finalists, please note you won’t be able to visit the centre on these days.

Then it’s time for the big day! 🏆 Saturday 12th September is Grand Final day! The day will kick off with our Mountain Goat and Teen categories from 9 am–12:45 pm, followed by the Open and Veteran categories from 12:30–4 pm. 🧗

There’ll be some disruption around the centre while our finalists battle it out, but there’ll still be plenty of wall if you fancy a climb! But why not come down and support the finalists while you’re here? 🙌 There’ll be a great atmosphere and coffee, cake and pizza to keep you going! ☕🍰🍕

Plus, we’ll also have TENZING NATURAL ENERGY joining us for the day, giving out free drinks to anyone aged 16+! 🥤

And the best bit? From 4pm, the Grand Final wall will be open for everyone to have a go! So you can see how you stack up against the finalists! 💪

This Girl Can is back! 🙌

This Girl Can is a coached social bouldering session for girls aged 11–14, offering a fun, relaxed and supportive space to climb. 🧗

Across the 8-week term, they’ll develop their climbing skills, take on new challenges and build confidence both on and off the wall.

Sessions run every Thursday from 7:30–8:30pm, and with just 6 spaces available, make sure you secure your spot via the link in our bio! 👆

Got a little climber at home? NICAS Wild Climbers is a brilliant way to get them started on the wall! 🧗‍♀️

NICAS stands for National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme. It’s a structured programme that helps young climbers build confidence, develop their climbing skills and progress at their own pace. 🏅

Our Wild Climbers sessions are for kids aged 3-7, with each weekly session packed with games, climbing and challenges. Over the course of the term, they’ll work through the NICAS Wild programme, earning stickers, learning new skills and working towards their next level as they go.

But it’s not all about climbing! It’s a great chance for little ones to make friends, get stuck in and have fun together while they learn. 🙌 And when they’re ready for their next step, they can keep progressing with us! 🧗

The new term starts in the first week of September, and sessions are now available to book via the link in our bio. 👆

Our Summer Workshops are back! Join us every Wednesday from 6:00–7:30 pm for coached sessions designed to help you climb stronger. With only 8 spaces per workshop, be quick to book!

There are intermediate sessions for both Slab Climbing and Dynamic Movement, so there’s something for a range of abilities.

We still have a few competitors who haven’t submitted their scores. If that’s you, you’ve got until Thursday 16th July to get them in. After that, we’ll lock in the final leaderboard and have it available in both centres and online.

We’ve loved seeing everyone getting stuck into the first 30 problems, battling for flashes and projecting right to the end. 🧗 Round 2 kicks off at Climbing Hut Shrewsbury on Friday 17th July. Let’s do it all again! 💥
