After a brilliant off-season filled with beach volleyball, outdoor sessions and plenty of fun, it's finally time to get back indoors and start preparing for the new season.

After putting out 2 teams last season we're taking things in a slightly different direction this year, focusing on strengthening the Trojans squad, developing as a team and, of course, pushing for more W's! 💪

But it's not all about what's on the scoreboard.

We're looking for players who want to be part of a team that encourages each other, works together and has plenty of fun both on and off the court.🫶🏐

After a brilliant off-season filled with beach volleyball, outdoor sessions and plenty of fun, it's finally time to get back indoors and start preparing for the new season.

After a great season in the NVL div 3 last season, the Amazons are looking to build on that performance and take things up another level this year. 💪

But it's not just about the current performance squad...

We're also looking to develop our Local League Amazons, giving players the opportunity to improve, challenge themselves and hopefully start pushing for a place in the NVL squad.

At CWAC, we're not just dedicated to excellence on the court, we're equally committed to the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our club off the court too.

From our youngest players to our more experienced (and occasionally more injury-prone 😅) members, everyone deserves to feel safe, supported and welcome at Cheshire West and Chester Volleyball Club.

To help make sure safeguarding concerns can be raised easily and confidentially, we've created a dedicated safeguarding email.

This inbox is checked regularly and is accessible only by our Safeguarding Lead and Club Chair, helping ensure concerns are handled appropriately and confidentially.

If you have a safeguarding concern about something you've seen, heard, experienced, or been made aware of within the club, please let us know as soon as possible.

Don't worry about whether something is "serious enough" to raise, if you're concerned, we'd rather you get in touch.

🏐 You've seen the costumes... now it's time for the results! 🏐

We're now three days on from Whitefield 2026, and our bodies are 'just about' starting to forgive us... 🤣

So, how did Team CWAC get on?

💙 The Amazons

After storming Division 2 last year and earning promotion, the Amazons stepped up into Division 1 and more than held their own. They worked incredibly hard all weekend, pushed every team close, and reached the Plate Semi-Finals.

A fantastic achievement in a higher division and a brilliant platform to build on for next year. 👏

💛 The Trojans

What a turnaround!

After winning just one game last year, the Trojans came back determined and produced an incredible Sunday, winning three matches in a row before narrowly missing out in the Plate Semi-Finals to the eventual winners.

A huge improvement, an amazing effort, and something everyone involved should be incredibly proud of. 💪

Whitefield is always about more than results. It's about great volleyball, great people, and making memories that last long after the sore legs have gone!

Now it's time for both the Amazons and Trojans to rest up, recover, and get ready for another exciting season ahead.
