What a fantastic few days at Elgin Golf Club for the Little The Jewellers Senior (50+) Mixed 3 Day Stableford Open! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a great success. It was wonderful to welcome so many players to Elgin and see the course enjoyed throughout the competition.

Thank you to our Players for your participation, sportsmanship and for creating such a fantastic atmosphere over the three days.

Thank you to our Greenkeeping Team for all their hard work in presenting the course in great condition.

Thank you to our Clubhouse Team, Pro Shop Team and Admin Team for everything you do behind the scenes and throughout the event to keep things running smoothly.

Well done to all of the participants in this Years competition, it was as exciting as ever - even though the rain today made playing conditions particularly difficult.

Well done to everyone taking part again today, there had been some excellent scoring on display making the aggregate leaderboards as exciting as ever.

Good luck to everyone going into Day 3 and to those trying to hold onto aggregate leads and to those with their hopes of closing them down!

Congratulations to all of our 150 participants from todays opening round of our Seniors (50+) Mixed 3 Day Stableford Open.

Little The Jewellers Seniors (50+) Mixed 3 Day Stableford Open

We would like to extend our thanks to Club Sponsor and long time friends, Little The Jewellers, who as well as supporting the Club through advertising space are now also the Title Sponsor for our highly successful 3 Day Stableford Open.

This years sold out open is our biggest yet and we look forward to welcoming all our participants from Wednesday August 26th - Friday 28th.

Hole in One Alert ⛳️ 🏌‍♂️ 🏆

It has been course maintenance week and it looks like Elgin Golf Club Greenkeepers have spread some luck onto the greens with the 2nd Hole in One of the week!

Congratulations to member Garry McGingle for scoring his ace on our 4th Hole - The Birches, while playing the course on Thursday August 13th.

His shot was witnessed by playing partner Andrew Ross.

That is now the 16th recorded Hole in One on the course during 2026 - this must surley be a record!

Congratulations to member Ian Davidson, who scored a hole in one yesterday on our 4th Hole - The Birches.

His ace was witnessed by playing partners Bob Cunningham, Ian Strong and Ally Saville.

Junior Open 2026

We had been delighted to host today's Junior Open, welcoming an incredible 70 young golfers from across the region. A fantastic 63 juniors competed in the highly contested 18-Hole Open, while a further 7 juniors took part in the 9-Hole Open, making for a superb day of junior golf.

Congratulations to all of today's prize winners and a huge well done to every competitor for their excellent sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the event. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Elgin Golf Club again soon.
