It was also the return of our Competitive Team group sessions tonight! ❤️🖤

Although training never stops for our competitive skaters, we do take a break from our group sessions over the summer – making their return an important part of getting back into the swing of things.

These group sessions are vital to their learning and development, giving our skaters the opportunity to work together, build confidence and continue developing their skills as a team.

And with our competition season now officially underway, there’s plenty to look forward to! 🏆✨

We’re looking for a little help with our Ladies Day! 🩷

We’re looking for donations of funny/unusual items for our Rag Bag and bite-sized sweet treats 🍬🍫

Also, if you’re coming along to Ladies Day, would you be willing to lend a hand on the day? 🙋‍♀️ Whether it’s helping with a game, selling raffle tickets, setting up, clearing up or anything else — every pair of hands helps!

💙💛 A DAY OF TWO HALVES FOR TEAM MORAY 💛💙

Today was definitely a day of two halves at the Magnum Open! ⛸️✨

First up was Isla. It wasn’t the skate she wanted, and I know she came off the ice disappointed.

She was competing in a huge category of 27 skaters, with ages ranging all the way up to 16, and still finished in the Top 8! 👏🔥

Sometimes skating doesn’t go exactly how you planned, but you pick yourself up, learn from it and keep going. And that’s exactly what Isla did. ❤️

Then it was Ariella’s turn… and WOW! 🤩

Ariella finished an amazing 2nd place in another very big group! 🥈👏

And the best part? This was only Ariella’s 4th competition! 😱 What a result!

We absolutely LOVE watching her on the ice — especially that little bit of sass she brings with her! 😂💃⛸️ She certainly knows how to put on a show!

Two very different skates today, but two girls who made us incredibly proud. ❤️

What a weekend for Team Moray — the talent, determination and spirit these skaters have shown has been amazing to watch.

🌟 Chloe – What an incredible performance, placing 5th in National 5 in a very high-scoring and extremely competitive top 5! 👏🔥 You should be so proud!

🌟 Leona – WOW! 🤩 What a score for your FIRST EVER COMPETITION! A fantastic 16.23, earning you 7th place! 🥳👏 What an amazing way to start your competitive journey!

Both girls did themselves, their coaches and Team Moray proud today. 💙💛

What a brilliant day for our skaters at the Magnum Open! 🤍

A huge well done to Lexie, competing in National 1 — Girls 12 & Over for the very first time and coming away with an amazing 2nd place and a new PB! 🥈✨ What an achievement!

Well done also to Jaya and Millie for getting out there, giving it their all and representing Moray Figure Skating Club so brilliantly! 🤍⛸️
