A new Covesea course record AND a first ever hole in one! 🏆⛳ What a round from James!
After more than 30 years playing golf, James recorded his first ever hole in one before going on to finish the round at an incredible 5 under par, setting a new course record at Covesea Links, a record previously held by Kyle Godsman! 👏
Two achievements that would make any round memorable, never mind managing them both on the same day.
A huge congratulations from everyone at Covesea, James. That one might take some beating!

A beautiful memento from last week's visit… ⛳
Before leaving Covesea, Paul Lawrie very kindly signed one of our flags and gifted it back to the course.
A lovely gesture and something we'll be very proud to have at Covesea 💙
Thanks again!

Covesea through the lens of CubGolf 📸⛳
We absolutely love this shot from a recent visit to the links.
It’s always brilliant seeing Covesea through someone else’s eyes, and the team at CubGolf captured some fantastic images of the course, the coastline and all the little details that make this place what it is.
This is just one of our favourites. 💛
Head over to CubGolf and check out their profile to see the rest of the photography from their visit.

Our honorary greenkeeper was back on patrol this week… 🐶⛳
Maggie taking a very important break from her greenkeeping duties to inspect the rough and we’re pleased to report everything appears to be up to standard.

A weekendto remember at Covesea for Rory Asher, who recorded a hole in one on our 6th hole! 👏
One swing of the 6 iron was all it took, and Rory summed up his round rather nicely in the visitors book:
“Amazing course. Hole in 1, 6th hole, 6 iron”
Congratulations Rory!
And speaking of holes in one... 👀
At our Annual Open on Sunday 27 September, there will be a very special hole in one prize up for grabs on the 9th.
Places are still available for the Open, with tee times from 9am to 4pm. £25 entry, open to all golfers aged 18+.
