I’ve had a fantastic week working with Howard, who travelled over from Hong Kong to experience golf in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⛳️

Throughout the week we worked on his full swing, short game and putting, while in between coaching sessions he enjoyed playing some of Scotland’s finest courses, including Elgin, Moray Old, Royal Aberdeen, Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart and Brora, to name just a few.

As well as making great progress during our time together, we put together a practice plan tailored to fit around Howard’s busy schedule when he returns home. We’ve also taken advantage of online coaching, including swing reviews and on-course video analysis, to help him stay on top of the technical improvements and new skills he’s developed this week.

It’s been a pleasure coaching you, Howard. Safe travels home, and I’m looking forward to seeing your continued progress! ⛳️

A little update on how things stand - with all picked players finished there rounds at The Open and Cam Young in the clubhouse at -9 unfortunately nobody will win the 6 months of free coaching. However anyone who guessed either the winning team or the winning player would go into a draw for 1 months free coaching so still something to be won. Once the Open has been finalised I’ll check back and see if anyone guessed the winner but didn’t chose Spain or Argentina and then combine all and draw a winner for a months free coaching package 😀 Good luck to all who still have a chance ⛳️

A special mention to Argyle, who won the Engineers Salver 🏆

We’ve had a couple of great lessons over the last two months, with the second taking place on MONDAY morning—just a few hours before the opening round of the 5-Day.

We made some significant swing changes at a point in the season when many golfers would be reluctant to change anything. Monday’s lesson was challenging, however, Argyle didn’t revert back to what felt comfortable. Instead, he committed fully to the process.

Between rounds, he put in some excellent work on the range and sent me swing videos during the week to check he was achieving the positions we had worked on and continuing to build confidence in his new feels.

A fantastic achievement and another reminder that trusting the process, staying committed, and putting in the work really does pay off. Congratulations again, Argyle! 👏⛳
