The 2024-2025 season marks our fifth year of service in Hokkaido and a one off opportunity has opened up for any CASI level 1 instructors still looking for work this season!

Position Details

Position: Chinese-English Ski Instructor (Skiing/Snowboarding; dual-skill instructors will receive a higher salary)
Qualifications:
1. A strong passion for ski instruction
2. A positive, optimistic personality and willingness to adapt to team life
3. Hold a valid international ski instructor certification
4. Already hold a valid Japanese work visa
5. Native-level fluency in Chinese (Mandarin proficiency preferred)
6. Basic conversational and instructional English skills

Work Conditions
• Work Period: January 2025– April 2025 (negotiable)
• Work Locations: Teine, Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, and other areas in Hokkaido
• Work Schedule: Shift-based (4-6 days off per month)
• Salary: negotiable

Still stoked on this big investment to become a Functional Movement Specialist last year, the real development is always in the experience that I gain from working with people. I feel very grateful to be able to return to Japan and the ski industry for my 4th season after an involuntary 2 season covid break. I love the area, the sport, the people and the role.
