Referee’s Player of the Match:

⭐ Brooke – A constant threat up top throughout the game, Brooke never gave the opposition defence a second on the ball. She took all four of her goals really well, with her fourth being a particular highlight.

Coaches’ Players of the Match:

⭐ Sofia – Playing on the wing today, Sofia was excellent from start to finish. Her link-up play and footwork were brilliant, and she never gave the opposition a sniff throughout the full game.

⭐ Libby – Commanding in centre midfield, Libby dictated the play today and was right up for the challenge. With a couple of assists to her name, she really showed her influence on the game and played a big part in the team’s performance.

A fantastic return to league action for the Blues today as we travelled to Keir Hardie Sports Centre to take on Holytown Blacks.

The team got off to a flying start, with Libby’s corner finding Brooke who headed home just 4 minutes after kick-off. Another corner from Libby was again finished by Brooke before Freya added a third to send us into half-time 0-3 up.

Holytown pulled one back from the penalty spot in the second half after an accidental handball in the box, but the Blues responded well.
Brooke completed her hat-trick after a great set-up from Freya before adding a fourth herself after showing great skill to skin a couple of players, turn and fire high into the net.

A brilliant 5-1 victory to get the league action back underway, with the team putting in a fantastic performance while proudly wearing their new Falkirk Football Community Foundation kit! 👏🏻💙

A few challenges, a bit of competition and a great way to finish the week before the league restart ⚽️

After the summer break, the team return to league action this Sunday as they head to Holytown to take on Holytown Blacks.

Unfortunately, tomorrow’s match against Motherwell 15s NextGen has been cancelled due to circumstances outwith the control of both Falkirk and Motherwell.

Keep an eye out for details of next weekend’s match, when our season officially gets back underway! ⚽️

The team’s weekend has officially started after putting in the work tonight! A Good Friday night fitness session to get the legs moving and the fitness levels up as we build towards the season restart.
And because we can’t have all work and no play… the session finished off with a wheelbarrow race! 😂🏃‍♀️
Safe to say there was plenty of effort, competition and a few laughs along the way!

Gary puts so much time, effort and passion into coaching our Team, helping them develop both on and off the pitch. His commitment, encouragement and enthusiasm never go unnoticed, and we’re incredibly lucky to have him as part of the Blues family. 💙
