The ladies who come to our Fitsteps classes each week often comment on how much dancing together lifts their mood, and I feel it every myself every time I teach 🙏💃💗

If you’re interested in trying for yourself, we have classes as follows;

Weds 7-8pm Bo’ness Town Hall
Thurs 7.30-8.30pm, St Cuthberts Church, Slateford Rd

Dance simultaneously releases serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin while lowering cortisol. When performed in groups, it creates interbrain synchrony that strengthens social bonds. Researchers are now advocating for dance to be considered a front-line treatment for depression.
