Brilliant day to meet Erica & Paul from Massachusetts at Loganlea Trout Fishery. The wind was howling but we tucked into a nice spot and the fish were on it. Paul landed 2 Rainbows and a nice Tiger Trout. Erica had her fly straightened on a fish and missed a few rises. We fished cdcs and hoppers all on the surface to tempt our Trout.. Paul’s lucky fly is heading home with him and he might be able to land a fish in the States with it. That would be another story.

To Kass, a very special Harris Hawk.

Spread your wings and fly far,
Soar away on the wind, go higher n higher,
disappear into the clouds, and don’t come back this time,
I won’t see you again but you’ll always be there when I look up.

There is no way I can reach everyone personally with this sad news but if you met her and flown with her can I ask you post up any photos off her. ❤️❤️

Great day with Prila Lofo from Johannesburg. We fished Duddingston Loch and this huge Conger Eel grabbed the mackerel bait and headed for the sea as soon as it was hooked. . It went straight down
the River and finally snagged up on a submarine wreck. After a strong fight he finally got the net under it. Top fish for a Champion Angler.
Tight lines everybody.

Nothing was going to stop these Chefs from Holland catching a fish. We visited Clubbiedean Trout Fishery with Quirijn and his friends. Rain and sleet came down but they persevered and were rewarded with some nice Trout. I got to meet some great lads and what a day to be up the hills in fine Scottish weather.

Great day at Lomond Hills Fishery in Fife,
We had llse, Lisanna, Cindy and Steffie from the Netherlands on an introduction fishing session. We used all methods and after a bit the fish turned on and we started catching, some beauties in the net and some escapees but that’s fishing... Also thank you very much Steffie for the Trip advisor review.
It really helps my business.
Tight lines everybody.

Great day at Clubbiedean Trout Fishery with Paul & Phil from Stafford. After a short introduction to fly fishing Paul was very keen to get a fly in the water and caught a very special Trout, his first on the fly. He seen it swim passed and tried to cover it. On the third attempt it took and What a special reward.
Tight lines everybody.

Brilliant day at Clubbiedean Trout Fishery with Lloyd, Sinead and Ben. We used all methods, Lloyd took the fly rod round the Loch and deserved a fish on the fly. Ben got the first Trout and the biggest, it weighed 3.5lb. Sinead then struck the second and after a good fight soon got the net in there. Lloyd got the last fish and we had a full house. Great session and thanks to Stevie up at Clubbiedean.
Tight lines this weekend

Great day at Clubbiedean Trout Fishery with James and Max from NSW Australia. Both were experienced fishers and soon settled in. It Wasn’t an easy day so Max took on the fly rod and soon had it tamed. He tried very hard but had no luck. James then had a shot with the fly rod and on the third cast hooked this cracking Rainbow Trout on a Blue flash damsel. We also had a fly around with Kass our female Harris Hawk.
