Next weekend sees the kick off for our finals weekends; and for the first time in 11yrs our ladies championship will be played for.

​We are delighted to release the official Schedule of Play for our biggest ever Finals Day being held at Musselburgh Municipal bowling club! It really is a Festival of Bowls, celebrating all the success of our local talent this season.

​With 27 trophies to be won on the day, it promises to be a spectacular showcase of community sport.

​(Please note: The McIntosh U25 Singles and U25 Pairs will be played on Tuesday 1st September at Eskmills BC due to a Bowls Scotland squad day).

*The full programme with Clubs and participants will follow on Friday morning after the conclusion of the 070 Masters & Ladies Rinks Semis on Thursday evening*

Yesterday seen our first finals single hand competition of the season. It was a family affair in the Welfare Final, father vs son, Peter vs David.
After a close game it all came down to 1 shot in the end and father was victorious. They both face each other again in our Presidents 2 bowl in September.

It wasn’t to be yesterday at finals day for CISWO Midlothian Miners League Knockout. The ladies triple was beaten by a cm in the last end, would’ve been easier if it was a foot. Never mind always next year. Congratulations to all the winners and well done to Bilston Bowling Club for hosting and to Isabel Brown and Callum More for running a great day.
