A superstar shout-out to SSD Team Member of the Month for August 2026 - our lovely Class Assistant, Chloe! 🤩 Many students will know Chloe as one of our senior students but Chloe has danced with us since she was only little herself - now a long-term competitive dancer for SSD and more recently becoming a class assistant 😆 We LOVE having her assisting our classes and being a wonderful role model for our new generation of dancers! 🥰 Keep shining, Chloe! ✨

We are SO delighted with our newest piece of Acro equipment — the Pit Pillow from Tumbl Trak! We received a very kind legacy donation which contributed towards the purchase of this new kit, and we can’t wait to see how it will benefit our Acro kids and their training! 🤸 🤩

What a week for our first week of the new Autumn term! 🤩 We welcomed lots of new faces across our Longstone, Fairmilehead, Oxgangs and Balerno venues and it was a buzz to see children from tots to teens trying something new and leaving with a smile on their face 💛 Well done to our hardworking team for a busy first week back!
