The Scottish Council on Archives is the lead body for the advocacy and development of archive and records management services in Scotland.

We lead on the advocacy and development of archive services in Scotland and support both historic collections and modern records management services. The work we do falls under four broad headings:
Research – collecting information about Scottish archives
Advocacy – making the case for continued investment in Scottish archives
Marketing – promoting opportunities for research and learning in Scottish archives
Development – providing training and development opportunities for Scottish archives

Community Stories – Community Archives Project Update

Community members at the Pilton Community Health Project‘s lunch club were invited to add their stories to the Granton Hub archive. These will be deposited in the archive to ensure the collections include stories from a wide range of community members.
