We all love getting out on the water, here's the evidence on just how much it's worth to our health and wellbeing.

Our mission to share the wellbeing benefits of splashing about continues!

Introducing the Worth of Water report 💦

Across the Forth region, beaches and coastlines, rivers, lochs and canals offer places to walk, relax, enjoy the scenery or simply spend time near the water.

We’ve been exploring what these blue spaces really mean for our health and wellbeing, along with what their value could be if we had to put a number on it.

The Worth of Water report shares new findings on the benefits of the Forth region’s blue spaces. It also explores who is able to access them, who may be missing out and what this could mean for communities across the region.

This research was carried out by the University of Aberdeen, greenspace scotland and Public Health Scotland, as part of the FORTH2O Policy Innovation Partnership, supported by UK Research and Innovation.

FCC takes Belgium! 🇧🇪

Eight of our canoe polo crew survived (and thrived) in the marathon trek to and from Ypres to play in De Paddel.

8 games, 5 solid wins, and a 13th-place finish out of 24 teams. 🏆

It turned out to be much hotter than a Scottish summer, which meant only one thing: immediate excuse to bust out the kilts.

A Grandtully to remember!

We had 37 members on the water, ranging from age 10 all the way to 70 something.

From calm loch paddling to exhilarating Grade 4 whitewater, seeing so many of you build new skills, try new things, and support our leaders in their development was incredible.

Nearly 20% of our club came together for one epic weekend. Here’s to the next one!
