Sin Gwang Dojang has long been part of the UKHGA family, and we are proud to present its new official dojang logo.

Sin Gwang (신광) translates as “New Light” — representing renewal, clarity of purpose and continued progress in the Way of the Sword.

Beneath, the crossed swords reflect commitment to the Korean Sword Art of Haidong Gumdo — upheld with discipline, precision and integrity.

This emblem does not mark a beginning — but a strengthening.
A renewed light.
A sharper edge.
A stronger identity.

First class of 2026 is this Wednesday (7th of January) at 7pm till 8.30pm. Perfect opportunity to learn something new and improve your fitness as you learn!

As we close out 2025, we would like to thank all Masters, instructors, students and families across the United Kingdom Haidong Gumdo Association for their continued commitment and unity throughout the year.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Master Han, Head of the EUHGA, Master Lee, EUHGA Technical Director, and all members of the EUHGA for their ongoing guidance, support and shared dedication to the growth of Haidong Gumdo across Europe.

We wish you all a peaceful, healthy and well-deserved festive break and look forward to seeing you in the New Year as we continue to grow together.
