⭐COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐ Meet Lauren!! Lauren is going into her 4th Year studying Nursing. A dependable defender and midfielder, and QMU Hockey’s Captain for 2026–27, leading the team with passion and determination🫡 After the final whistle, you’ll usually find her with a bag of Haribos—or later enjoying a pint with the girls🍻 She describes QMU Hockey in one word: UNFORGETTABLE —and we couldn’t agree more!!

⭐COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐ Meet Ellie!! Ellie is a going into her 3rd Year studying Speech and Language Therapy. A fearless defender, and QMU Hockey’s Vice Captain for 2026–27. She’ll happily throw herself in front of a hockey ball and is always leading by example on and off the pitch. Her match-day motto: defend first, chocolate later. She describes QMU Hockey in one word: FAMILY—because we stick together through every win, loss, and questionable socials🤭

Meet Ellie!! Ellie is going into her 3rd Year studying Speech and Language Therapy. A rock in defence⚡️, and our QMU Hockey Vice Captain for 2026–27, leading with determination both on and off the pitch. Her post-match snack of choice is chocolate, and she describes the club in one word: FAMILY because we all have eachothers backs❤️‍🩹

⭐COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐ Meet Danica!!Danica is a going into her 4th Year studying Diagnostic Radiography, a determined striker, and QMU Hockey’s President for 2026–27. Always leading from the front, whether that’s scoring goals💥 or making sure the club is running smoothly. Never one to shy away from getting stuck in, she brings positivity and commitment to everything she does. Her post-match fuel of choice is a bagel, and she sums up QMU Hockey in one word: SUPPORTIVE—because everyone has eachother’s backs, on and off the pitch!

⭐COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐ Meet Ellen!! Ellen is going into her 3rd Year studying Radiotherapy and Oncology, a dependable defender, and QMU Hockey’s Vice President for 2026–27. Whether she’s supporting the committee behind the scenes or putting in the hard work at the back, she’s always got the team’s best interests at heart. After a match, you’ll usually find her grabbing a well-earned Maccies, and she describes QMU Hockey in one word: WELCOMING—because there’s always a friendly face & plenty of laughs 🫶

⭐COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐ Lily is going into her 2nd Year studying Psychology & Sociology, a speedy forward, and QMU Hockey Social Sec and Social Media Manager for 2026–27. Between social planning, running the social media, and making sure NOBODY goes home early!! Her post-match essential is a Babybell (or three), and she describes QMU Hockey in one word: encouraging—because everyone’s encouraged to come to training… and definitely encouraged to come to the socials! 😇
