Meet the men leading us into our 125th anniversary season 💪

Leon is back at the helm, with Robert and Kiel taking on the vice captain roles. They’re bringing plenty of experience, hard work and determination into a season that’s a pretty big deal for the club.

The mission is clear: raise the standards, turn up the intensity, and make sure the boys are giving 100% on and off the pitch.

There is, however, one small matter to address…

Last season, the entire men’s leadership team managed to get seriously injured. So, with all due respect to tradition, we’re hoping the captaincy injury curse has officially been retired 😂

Three familiar faces, three different ways of leading, and one team to get behind.

Louise and Ruth are back in the leadership team, with Merce stepping up alongside them. Between the three of them, there’s years of Lismore experience, plenty of commitment and more than enough energy to get us through the season.

From setting the standard to bringing the energy and the vibes, we’re excited to see what this group brings to the season.

A huge thank you to Megan, who steps down as vice captain this season, for everything she brought to the leadership team. We’re delighted to still have her on the pitch with us.

THURSDAY NIGHT PLANS 👀🏉

The women are taking on Musselburgh Women’s Rugby tomorrow as they get their first taste of matchday action ahead of the new season.

After weeks of training, it’s time to get out there, have a run around and show what we’ve been working on.

7pm kick off. Come down, make some noise and get behind the ladies!💪

Big welcome to Ruth Lawlor and Robert Anderson as they take on the roles of Secretary and Club Captain for the season ahead! 👋

Both are already well known around Lismore, so we’re very happy to have them stepping up and getting stuck into their new roles. We’re sure they’ll do a cracking job!

A massive thank you to Mark Lane and Kimberly James for everything they’ve done as Secretary and Club Captain over the last couple years, and for all the time, effort and work they’ve put into the club. We really appreciate you both!
