Drum Field Archers

All the hard work paid off and what a weekend of fun and super weather to compliment the happy, cheery Archers that came and shot at Drum Field Archers Hunter Round on Sunday.... there was a SFAA Ltd. record broken by Max Gordon from Forest Spirit.
We had Novice division Alistair, Ludo, and Chris and the cubs as well as 27 seasoned Archers all out on the course.
A big thanks to Skye Douglas for the catering and Fiona Dixon and Jordan Aitken for the admin. Big shout out to course maintenance and face putter outers Bob Tweedie, James Macfarlane, Justin Bolger, Dan Struthers and Wayne Potter and Allen for trimming the lanes.
And a super shout out to Cheryl Robson for the amazing home baking and raffle prizes... .

2026 Scottish Field Archery Championship (SFAC) | SFAA LTD SFAC 26 will be hosted by Forest Spirit Archers

All in a weekends work down at Drum Field Archers 12 students over 2 day course. Amazing amount of work put in by the coaches, volunteers and trustees to execute this weekend. The students were all very adept at archery and commited to the 2 days with great gusto.
We are looking forward to supporting them all on their archery journey going forward. Thanks to James Macfarlane for cutting lanes and Hayden Potter, Milo Potter, Ross Munro Wayne Potter Dan Struthers Fiona Dixon Isabella Fraser Justin Bolger for their support and coaching.

Super duper congratulations to Leonie and Petra Schneider on being awarded Drum Field Archers Tattie Shed Trophy for outstanding contributions to the club... both Leonie and her mum have volunteered over the last year with outdoor range, coaching and various other archery activities... 🏹 much appreciated and both are equally valued as Club members...

Where do I begin?... 2 days of absolute team cohesion, friendly banter, medals, records and good sportsmanship from the SFAA Ltd. and Drum Field Archers members.
Many thanks to all our volunteers.... Leonie and Hayden Potter both supporting the Cubs on the 2d rounds... Fiona Dixon, Isabella Fraser and Skye Douglas for the catering/raffle and all others for set up and clear up.

SFAA Ltd. Scottish Bowhunter Championship 2026 ready... few last touches tonight and a massive amount of work and planning over the last few weeks to get organised on the field and hospitality. Massive shout out to all club members involved in the set up especially Oor Bob Tweedie, Justin Bolger, Dan Struthers, Petra Schneider , James Macfarlane, Isabella Fraser, William Marr Wayne Potter, Brad Howe 👏 .
