Nice morning for an under 11 friendly with Chepstow C. Good knocks for Coran, Reuben, Brady and Lincoln as Ebbw ran out winners. It was a great opportunity for the newer lads to play together and all put in excellent performances. Thanks to Chepstow for travelling up.

Ebbw Vale Cricket Club were once again pleased to welcome a number of local organisations to the pavilion this evening in order to present them with donations from the proceeds of our recent firework display. Over twenty organisations benefitted including Blaenau Gwent Foodbanks, Hospice of the Valleys, Pinc, BG Toy Appeal, Motor Neurone Defiance Trust and many more deserving causes.
Our club works closely with members of the Fire Service each year to put on a spectacular display for the commmunity to enjoy and raise much needed funding for a variety of good causes.
A big thank you to Matt Yates (SWFRS) and Nick Pepper(EVCC) for organising and to the stewards and ticket vendors in helping to make this event a success each year.
Having supported community groups for over twenty years we look forward to continue helping more community groups next year.
