🥋 Colour Belt Grading – Wednesday 30th September 🥋

Our next Colour Belt Grading will take place at our Ebbw Vale gym:

📅 Wednesday 30th September 2026
📍 CBMA, Unit M7, The Vale Shopping Centre, Market Street, Ebbw Vale, NP23 6HP

⏰ The grading will start at 5pm, specific grading times for each will be given closer to the date. Grading times are based on the belt you currently hold:

Please remember:

🥋 Students must wear a white dobok or Little Tiger uniform with their current belt
📖 All students must have an up-to-date licence
💷 Grading fee: £30 – cash only, payable before grading
🥊 Green belts and above must bring their full sparring equipment

Students who are ready to grade will be given an invitation by their instructor in the lead-up to the grading.

This week will be Cerys’ last with us before she heads off to university to pursue her dream of becoming a vet 🎓🐾

Cerys has been a fantastic member of our club for almost 10 years, showing incredible perseverance and indomitable spirit throughout her journey. She has enjoyed a successful competition career winning many national titles and has grown into a brilliant role model for our younger students.

Cerys was one of our first young leaders and developed into a fantastic coach who has been an invaluable member of the team. She also has done an amazing job behind the scenes managing our social media and helping us share everything happening across the club.

We’re incredibly grateful for all her hard work, commitment and support over the years. We’re very proud of you Cerys, and wish you every success in this exciting next chapter.

You’ll be greatly missed by everyone at CBMA 🥋

📌 Reduced Timetable (17th – 31st August)
For the final two weeks of August, we will be moving to a Reduced Summer Timetable:
Ebbw Vale Members: Classes will run on Tuesdays & Thursdays ONLY at your usual venue. Please check the final slide for your specific group times.
Other Venues: Classes are completely paused for a 2-week summer break during this period.
Note: This reduced schedule also covers the August Bank Holiday.

Merthyr and Abertillery members are welcome/encouraged to attend the classes running in Ebbw Vale

💳 Membership Policy Reminder
As a reminder of our billing structure, standard student membership accounts are calculated based on 48 weeks of training per year. This balance automatically factors in a 2-week summer break block and a 2-week break over the Christmas period.
