ADHD Awareness MONTH 2026🌈
🤝This year’s focus: Community Support🤝
ADHD support isn’t just about diagnosis, medication or therapy. Community can be an important part of the picture too. 🌿
For many people with ADHD, finding others who understand can reduce isolation and create a sense of connection, belonging and shared experience.
Community support might include:
🌱 ADHD or neurodivergent groups
🚶♀️ Walking and activity groups
☕ Social meet-ups and peer support
💬 Online communities
📚 Information, education and signposting
🤝 Spaces where you can connect with people who simply get it
Community support isn’t a replacement for medical care, therapy or specialist services. It offers something different: the opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, learn from one another and feel part of something.
And, just like ADHD itself, one size definitely doesn’t fit all. The right community will look different for everyone.
This ADHD Month, we’re highlighting some of the ADHD and neurodivergent communities and support available in Eastbourne and Hailsham, as well as where you can find wider listings.

Because sometimes support isn’t about finding someone who can fix things.
Sometimes it’s about finding people who make you feel less alone while you’re figuring things out. 💚
