League business continues this week against Bellshill athletic. Bellshill ran out winners earlier in the season after a disappointing performance from our boys. A solid performance last week will have us confident coming into this weekends fixture 🌳

RESULT: EK FOREST 0-1 STENHOUSE UNITED 🟡⚫️

Tough game today against a strong Stenhouse United side. Conceding an avoidable goal in the first 10 mins was always going to make things difficult, but credit to the boys for how they reacted to the early setback. We more than matched Stenhouse all over the pitch and no one’s effort or desire can be faulted today. While we defended well we never looked a threat going forward and struggled to really trouble their goalie. Positive performance but definitely some things to work on.💪

MOTM: Lewis McClinton
Great debut performance from Lewis at right back today. Slotted in there brilliant and hardly put a foot wrong. Well done mate! Shoutout to the whole back four today who were key to a good defensive performance🟡⚫️

It's back to league duty this Sunday as we take on Stenhouse United. A good win last week means the boys are in good spirits coming into this Sunday.

RESULT: EK FOREST 4-4 KINCARDINE COLTS (EK FOREST WIN 3-1 AFTER PENALTIES) 🟡

Hard fought battle today in the cup, with the boys running out eventual winners after penalties. Classic cup game on a tough surface with both teams going down to 10 men and 8 goals scored!

MOTM: Short of a goalie this week so needed someone to step in. Big Cammy Stuart took the responsibility today and you’d have thought he’d been playing there for years. Cracking saves throughout the game and then 3 saves in the pen shootout more than earned him MOTM. Well done big man 🌳
