MRM Archery

This weekend saw us run our 135th (and last 🙁🙁) Archery Instructors Course. This was hosted by Girl Guiding Dunbartonshire at their Catterburn Camp. What a great group to work with!. Lots of hard work from all of the participants interspersed with a fair amount of laughter and banter. Congratulations to all 7 candidates on successfully completing your assessments and joining the ranks of Archery GB Qualified Archery Instructors: Sarina; Catriona; Eve; Fiona; Sarah; Andrea; Rona - Many thanks for all of your hard work and enthusiasm.

A return visit to Gleneagles Shooting School this week to run an Archery Instructor course. Six Gleneagles staff were joined by six staff from two other organisations based throughout Scotland. The weather was very hot but everyone worked hard over the two days and we are delighted that there are now 12 new Instructors introducing more people to archery. Congratulations to Elisa, Norrie, Victoria, Robert, Nik, Mark, Ian, George, Saul, Elle, Chris and Richard.

A very belated post for our Archery Instructors Course hosted by Abernethy Trust a few weeks ago. A great weekend with the participants giving it their all. Thanks to everyone for the hard work that they put in and congratulations to: Isabel; Rhoda; Rosie; Sammi; Naomi; Tom; Mariusz; Lucy; Alain; Matthew; William. All successfully completed the course and assessments and joined the ranks of qualified Archery Instructors in Scotland.

Another Beginners course completed. Over the weeks our learners have had to endure rain, hail, wind and on our last evening at last some sunshine - preparing them well for taking up archery! They all shot well and despite the weather challenges enjoyed their course. All successfully completed the course and are now looking to join local clubs. Congratulations to Nishat, Intan and Abygail - we hope you enjoy your archery journey.

Timeline - Sunday 1st February: Successful completion of our 1st Archery Beginners Course at our venue at Craufurdland Castle Estate. All of our participants managed to cope with the rather wintery weather over the course and all successfully completed the course. Congratulations to : Sarah; Alison, Nicola; Paul; Kirsteen; John; Seamus and Jeeho. Hopefully we will see you getting into local clubs over the coming few months. It was a pleasure working with you all.

Another successful Archery Instructors Course completed at Lagganlia this week. Despite some awful weather the previous week we were fortunate to have two dry, if very cold, days for the course. Many thanks to all of the participants for the hard work that you all put in along with the laughs that we had along the way. The completion today of another Archery Instructor course held at Scripture Union Scotland Lendrick Muir Centre at Rumbling Bridge. We had representatives from other Scripture Union Centres and three staff from our client at Forest Holidays in Scotland. The snow capped hills looked amazing but the weather was a bit parky. However the participants took this in their stride, worked really hard and were successful in completing the course. Congratulations to: Harry, Josh A, Josh B, Justin, Iona, Rachel, Kate, Melissa, Connor, Gordon and Stuart. Great to have another 11 qualified Instructors working in Scotland.
