IDTA exams are taken and a bi-annual dance show is held in which all children are invited to take part.

Erin is the most fearless dancer I’ve ever met. If there’s a challenge, Erin will sprint towards it and give it 150% of her energy and enthusiasm. I will miss that a great deal. Erin is going on to study Psychology at university. Excited to watch you go and take on the world! 💜

I remember when Amy first came to dance with me at the tender age of 2. Amy has been a quiet but constant member of our EDA family. Amy has always worked hard, has a great sense of humour and I will miss our Tuesday catch ups! Thank you so much for choosing EDA for the last 16 years.

A very sunshine filled well done to the lovely Erin Jenkins and erin who took their istddance Advanced 1 Modern exam today!
These girls have worked so hard - they have both just completed their A-Levels and then went straight on to their Modern exam! And they completed their exam in the middle of a huge heatwave!
What a privilege it has been to watch you both on your dance journey! So proud of you! 💜💜

🌞 Keeping cool in the Heatwave 🌞
Here’s what we are doing to support our dancers in the heat:
- Our Dance Studio has air conditioning which we will use to keep the studio at a safe and comfortable temperature
- At the WI Hall and Lingfield Primary School we will use fans and keep the halls as ventilated as possible
- Encourage cool clothing for all lessons but thankfully our uniform does not require lots of layers - shorts instead of leggings would be a good idea! Please wear what you are comfortable in and can move in safely.
- PLENTY of water breaks!
- We will be mindful of what we are teaching- adage instead of allegro and opportunities to stretch in this heat

If your child is not managing in the heat, we completely understand. If you can let us know if you are not coming so that we can plan our teaching days accordingly that would help us, especially when we have long days. Thank you so much for your support! 💜
