ππ Drowning Prevention Week 2026 ππ
This week, we're proud to be supporting Drowning Prevention Week, helping children and families learn the vital skills needed to stay safe in and around water.
At Kings Centre, we'll be running activities and an interactive quiz throughout the week, giving everyone the chance to test their knowledge and about learn life-saving tips. π
Our swimming lessons will focus on water safety and drowning prevention to help incorporate the skills into children's lessons. πββοΈ
Did you know? Drowning Prevention Week aims to educate young people aged 5-17 on essential water safety skills ahead of the summer holidays, when more time is spent around pools, lakes, rivers and beaches. The campaign promotes the RLSS UK Water Safety Code:
