Basing all your progress on the scales is exactly why so many people stay stuck.
The scales only tell you one thing.
Your body weight.
They don't tell you how much body fat you've dropped.
They don't tell you how much muscle you've built.
And they definitely don't tell you how much your body shape has changed.
You could weigh exactly the same but have a smaller waist, tighter clothes and a completely different physique.
So stop letting one number decide whether you're succeeding or failing.
Instead:
✅ Try on an old pair of jeans. Chances are they'll fit better.
✅ Take weekly waist and hip measurements.
✅ Track your lifts in the gym. Are you stronger than when you started?
✅ Compare your progress photos every few weeks.
If you only use the scales, you'll always miss half the picture.
Use them as one tool, not the only tool, and you'll stop letting normal weight fluctuations convince you you're failing.
Cut yourself some slack!
We all have busy days.
We all eat something we don’t want due to emotions from time to time.

2026 saddens me.
In nearly 10 years of working in the fitness industry, I have NEVER seen it this fu**ed.
You’ve now got kids with cameras who’ve been to the gym 5 times dishing out stupid and potentially dangerous advice like they’re experts.
You’ve got fitness influencers doing weird, pointless s**t that isn’t effective because likes and follows matter more than actually helping people.
You’ve got weight loss injections becoming more polished, more accessible and being hailed as the ultimate saviour because apparently learning how to eat, move, train and look after yourself is now too much effort.
Yes, they can help people drop weight.
But if you don’t learn how to eat properly, train properly and maintain muscle along the way, what happens when the injection is gone?
You’ve got people doing 6 week PT crash courses with ZERO real life experience of working with the general population, charging stupidly low prices and people flocking to them because they’re cheap.
Then when they don’t get results...
SHOCK.
Suddenly all PTs and coaches are scammers.
Including the ones who have worked their arses off for 5, 10 or 15 years actually learning their craft.
And even worse...
You’ve got people leaving corporate office jobs, joining an online coaching mentorship and suddenly COACHING PEOPLE.
They’ve never been a PT.
Never been a fitness instructor.
Some of them don’t even have a fu***ng qualification.
Or insurance, by the way.
But they like going to the gym, so apparently that makes them qualified to take responsibility for someone else’s health 🤡
The whole thing is an absolute s**t show.
So DO YOUR RESEARCH.
Stop looking for the easiest possible way out.
Stop choosing the cheapest coach because you think all coaching is the same.
It isn’t.
And start taking some fu***ng ownership of your life.
Jimmy down the road didn’t make your choices for the last 5 years.
Instagram didn’t.
Your metabolism didn’t.
YOU DID.
So own it.
Put a plan in place.
Follow people who have actually been there, done it and spent years getting real people real results.
People who give you realistic, fact driven information.

✅ Stops us hitting the beach feeling bloated, groggy and gross 🤢
2️⃣ EVERY 2 ALCOHOLIC DRINKS, HAVE A GLASS OF WATER 🍹🍹💧
Most of the time you end up bloated and grim because you’re dehydrated.
So adding in controlled amounts of water throughout the day 👇
✅ Keeps hydration nice and high
✅ Reduces bloating
✅ Helps you dispose of waste effectively throughout the day 🚽😂
3️⃣ DON’T BE LAZY AND GET THE BUGGIES EVERYWHERE 🚶♀️☀️

Walk from your hotel room to breakfast 🍳
To the beach 🏖️
To the pool 🏊♀️
To the bar 🍹
