SUMMER PROGRESS THUS FAR:
After the 25/26 season concluded, it was apparent to all concerned at the football club the squad required a major overhaul.

I would like to take this opportunity to praise the young wasps who stepped up from the u18’s to conclude the final 14 games. As much as the season proved to be brutal the shining lights would be young Mason & Max evolving from our u18’s to being named permanently in the upcoming seasons first team squad.

Myself & the coaching staff are exceptional pleased with how pre season recruitment has gone so far as we undergo our rebuild.

We have managed to put together a squad which comprises of highly experienced personal, most of which have achieved promotions in higher leagues and coupled with some exciting young talent

More importantly whom we have recruited are local Sussex lads, most of which already know each other and have played with each other previously at other Sussex clubs to which were expecting the unity and togetherness of the squad to be already integrated as we start.

From past experience it is crucial to have dressing room unity if we are to have any chance of success, which we feel we have achieved with this group of players.

We are confident we have delivered a squad that can be ultra competitive on the pitch and one the our faithful fans can be proud.

We look forward to seeing you all at the pre season games in anticipation of what we hope to be an exciting season for all.

East Grinstead Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of exciting winger Shea Cascoe-Rogers from Corinthian-Casuals.

Shea is no stranger to the Wasps, having previously been part of Andy’s U23 squad before establishing himself in senior football. Now, he returns to the Vistavis Community Stadium with valuable experience and a point to prove.

A dynamic, explosive and attack-minded winger, Shea brings pace, flair and creativity in the final third. He’s the type of player who gets supporters off their seats and will undoubtedly be an exciting addition for the Grin Army this season.

...and finally our last announcement for tonight, The Wasps are so pleased to tell you about the return of club legend, the man, the myth, the legend..... Omar Folkes!!


We’re absolutely thrilled to confirm that Omar Folkes will remain with East Grinstead Town FC for the upcoming season.

A true club legend, Omar continues to be a hugely influential figure both on and off the pitch. His experience and quality have made him a cornerstone of the squad for many years, and his commitment to the club is second to none.

Still driving standards every day, Omar’s presence is invaluable as we look to build on and push for success in the season ahead. Having him remain part of the group is a massive boost for everyone at the club.

Another new signing for The Wasps! Shay Leahy!

We’re delighted to welcome Shay Leahy to the club. A combative and hardworking midfielder, Shay arrives from Hassocks after playing an important role in their Southern Combination League title-winning campaign. Having also featured for Lancing & Steyning Town, he brings valuable experience, energy and a real competitive edge to the midfield.

A proven winner helping Hassocks secure a title-winning season. Known for his work rate, tenacity and quality on the ball, he is a fantastic addition to the squad and arrives hungry for more success.

We’re delighted to confirm that Reegan Jeffries will remain with East Grinstead Town FC for the upcoming season.

A committed and hard-working member of the squad, Reegan continues to play an important role with his energy, attitude and versatility. Always reliable when called upon, he brings real value to the group both on matchdays and in training.

Look who's back?! The Wasps are pleased to welcome back Charlie Harris!

We’re delighted to welcome Charlie Harris back to the club. A talented and experienced midfielder, Charlie came through the academy at Brighton & Hove Albion and has enjoyed a successful non-league career with clubs including Horsham, Eastbourne Borough and Whitehawk.

A proven winner, Charlie played a key role in Whitehawk’s promotion campaign, scoring the winning goal in the play-off final and establishing himself as one of the area’s most influential midfielders. As a local lad, Charlie’s arrival adds even more significance as he returns to represent his hometown club for the third time.

Welcome back to Player/Assistant Manager Curtis Gayler for the 2026/27 season.

A dead-ball specialist with exceptional quality on the ball, Curtis plays a huge role both on and off the pitch. His experience, leadership, passion, and commitment to the club make him an invaluable member of the management team, while his performances on the pitch continue to set the standard.
