🥋 National Kata Championships🥋

In Wales today we had Braydon Robus, Amelie Hannah and Alex Hannah all competing.

Alex and Amelie competed for the first time in the Kime No Kata as father and daughter. They came 5th with constantly good scores against experienced DNA grades. Amelie was the youngest gest competitor in her group by some margin!

Braydon and his partner Mark took part in the Ju No Kata, the biggest group of the day. They didn't get a medal position unfortunately but they got great scores and learned a lot.

You can watch their great performances in the comments.

🇨🇭Grand Slam Lausanne 🇨🇭

Braydon Robus and Ethan Watkin took part in the inaugural adaptive grand slam this week. Taking to the same mat as some of the best in the world.

Both athletes worked exceptionally hard on the build up to this event and their judo was looking at its absolute best.

Braydon picked up a brilliant ippon and placed 7th. Ethan gave his absolute all, showing attacking, high tempo, judo but was unfortunately caught with a well timed footsweep.

An incredible experience for the pair of them. The first of many to come for these two talented athletes.

Thank you to the whole GB adaptive team for their incredible work.
