Ruby joins us from New Zealand Premier League side, Mavericks, and is a former New Zealand U21 international 🇳🇿

We are excited to welcome Nick Lidstone to EGHC! ✍️

Nick has been involved in New Zealand’s U18, U21 and A team programme over the last 10 years, and won his first senior caps in 2025 🇳🇿 He has also won Premier League hockey titles in his native New Zealand, and represented the Northern Territory Stingers in the Malaysian Hockey League 🏑

🏑 U14 Girls - Mizuno Cup runners-up
An incredible run to the final, including impressive wins over Hockey Mentors and Sevenoaks, before narrowly losing 3-2 to Surbiton in the final. A special congratulations to Ciara, named Player of the Tournament! 🌟

🏑 U14 Boys - Mizuno Plate runners-up
With just 11 players on day one, the boys showed incredible resilience to reach the final, eventually losing on shuffles to Ipswich after a huge effort across two day.

Two teams. Two finals. Two silver medals. 🥈🥈

Thank you SURBITON HC for hosting such a great tournament.

Indoor hockey is a huge part of our junior pathway at EG, helping players develop quicker decision-making, close control, creativity and confidence on the ball.

Tamoor’s Tournament 🏑💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Tamoor’s Tournament yesterday!

We had a fantastic 10 teams taking part, with Crowborough, Crawley, Wapping and Mid Sussex among those joining us for a brilliant day of hockey.

The tournament began with a minute’s applause in memory of “T”, before plenty of competitive hockey played in fantastic spirit throughout the day.

A big congratulations to Mid Sussex HC, who came away as our first Tamoor’s Tournament winners! 🏆

Most importantly, together we have raised nearly £2,000 in donations for our chosen charity. 💙

It was a very special way to remember T, and exactly the kind of event he would have loved to have been part of.

Thank you to everyone who played, supported, donated and helped make the day what it was. We hope this is just the beginning of something very special. 🏑💙
