Reminder: No karate on Aug 31 (Bank Holiday Monday) and from Wednesday (2 Sep) we are back at our usual dojo in Imberhorne Lower School on Windmill Lane - classes 7.30 - 8.30 pm.

Don't forget! We are in a new venue for the summer holidays (27/7 - 26/8 2026) - the sports hall at Imberhorne Upper School on Imberhorne Lane. Both classes (Mon + Wed) are 7.30 - 8.30 pm (note later Wednesday time).

Congratulations Dacre on gaining ikkyu (1st kyu) at the SKK honbu dojo last night, grading with just a couple of day's notice. Well deserved!

Karate is on tonight (Mon 22 Jun) but Wed 24th is cancelled due to the extreme heat (30-35 degrees in the evening). Take care, see you on the other side of this heatball.

Back on Wednesday 27th with one class for everyone, mixed levels, 6.30-7.30 pm.

Thank you to all those who took part in the SKK 2026 Easter Kata Challenge! The grand total stands at 2,048 with 44 participants and 58 different kata - smashing last year's 1,750 total. Kanzenki contributed 847 kata (our red belts contributing over half of our total - an amazing effort). Thank you Sensei Brian for organising, and well done everyone!
