We switched things up a little tonight and introduced some new warm-up exercises. 🥋

As always, our students adapted brilliantly and took on the new challenges with great energy and enthusiasm.

Sometimes it’s good to change things up, challenge ourselves and try something different.

Because good training isn’t about always doing what’s comfortable.

It’s about being challenged, adapting, pushing through and becoming better than you were yesterday.

That’s what we train for.

Ask our instructors what their favourite part of Summer Camp has been and you’ll get plenty of different answers.

But there’s one thing that comes through in all of them. The people.

From instructors who’ve known each other for years to children meeting new friends for the first time, Summer Camp creates a space where everyone can get involved, have fun and make memories together.

At just 12 years old, Louis is already a First Degree Black Belt, a competitive Taekwondo athlete, and a Junior Instructor at Fortitude Academy.

From helping younger students at Summer Camp to training for major competitions, Louis is putting his skills and experience into practice while continuing to work towards his own goals.

He has already competed internationally, including at the Flanders Fields competition in Belgium, and has his sights set on earning his Second Degree Black Belt and bringing home even more medals.

It’s fantastic to see young students not only developing themselves, but becoming positive role models for others along the way.

For others, it’s watching children come out of their shells, build new friendships, improve their communication skills and grow in confidence.
